The Task

Looking for a fun and innovative brand to distinguish them from traditional vending companies, Office Barista approached our design agency in Glasgow to create a new brand for their UK and Ireland coffee business.

A long-established company, Office Barista continually review and update their range of professional hot drinks machines, ensuring that they offer the best bean to cup and professional pod machines for the workplace environment.

Based out of the UK and Ireland, Office Barista are an independent authorised distributor of some of the best office coffee machines in the world.

The Creative Process

We looked at their values, market position and competition, setting the stage to develop a primary brand mark and associated secondary elements. As a retailer of brands, the mark had to be distinctive in its own right whilst working in harmony with the drink brands it promotes. Thus our graphic designer opted for a black and white mark supported by a complementary secondary colour palette inspired by coffee.

Once the brand was developed our graphic designer followed an implementation strategy to deploy the brand across a series of assets including, website, social media, vehicles, exhibition displays and printed material including cups, packaging and brochures.

The creative process we went through with Mucky Puddle was outstanding. They laid out a very simple but comprehensive plan to develop our brand and the finshed results exceeded our expectations.
